Regal Security Inc.is currently seeking a full time Yard security Guardat one of its locations in theTorontoONarea.
The Ideal Candidate must have:
- Full time availability to work all days of the week and schedules will consist of a overnight including holidays and weekends.
- 5 years residency in Canada
- G class driver license - No demerits and clean record
- Customer service-driven individual
- Clear English communication skills in all areas (verbal and written)
- Detailed and thorough record-keeping (Memo book incident reports etc.)
- Keen observation and attentiveness
- Professional physical deportment and presentation
- Decision Making Reliable Common Sense and exceptional judgment
- Able to workas a team
- Working knowledge of Trespass to Property Act and Criminal Code of Canada
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding and personalized customer service as a front line representative of Regal Security
- Operate and maintain an organized environment
- Enforce property rules and regulationsand theTrespass to Property Actto maintain the security and safety of our clients and their assets
- Oversee the logging in and out of site equipment
- ActivelyMonitor CCTVfire systemsandaccess systems
- Respond to all emergencies (medical buildingetc.)
- Ensure that safety and emergency protocols are completed in response to Fire Alarms and other Site Emergencies
- Complete walking patrolsvehicle patrolsand inspections of facilities and equipmentandreport any hazards deficiencies etc. to ensure safety and security
- Review know and follow post orders as identified for site representing
- Maintain a safe working environment and follow the facilities health and safety procedures
- Duties as otherwise assigned
- Passing Use of Force training (provided by Regal)
Qualifications:
- Valid Ontario Security License
- Valid First Aid/CPR Certification
- Valid WHMIS Certification
- G Class drivers license
- The use of Force is an asset
- Secondary School Diploma or equivalent and higher (preference will be given to those with a Criminal JusticeLaw and Security Police Foundations or similarpost-secondary education)
- Proficient in the use of various computer programs (i.e. Microsoft Office Gmail) and able to adapt and learn new programs
Compensation:
- The pay rate will be $18.96 an hour.
- Health Benefits are available for full-time employees upon completion of 3 months probation.
