We are seeking a skilled and experienced Logistics Executive to oversee and manage the logistics operations in Ivory Coast. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end logistics management including inbound and outbound shipments warehouse coordination documentation inventory control vendor and transport management and ensuring timely deliveries aligned with company and client expectations.
Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations (inbound and outbound).
Manage transportation warehousing and distribution.
Oversee the movement of goods including customs clearance and documentation.
Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations.
Maintain stock accuracy and oversee inventory control processes.
Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage stock rotation and order fulfillment.
Liaise with transporters freight forwarders and customs brokers.
Negotiate contracts and rates with logistics partners.
Ensure timely pickup and delivery of goods.
Ensure proper documentation for import/export including bills of lading packing lists and invoices.
Stay updated with Ivorian import/export rules and ensure adherence.
Maintain daily/weekly reports on shipments stock costs and delivery timelines.
Identify logistics cost-saving opportunities and implement process improvements.
Education: Bachelors degree in Logistics Supply Chain Management Business Administration or related field.
Experience: 3 to 5 years of proven experience in logistics supply chain or warehousing (preferably in West Africa or similar markets).
Language Proficiency: Proficiency in French and English is mandatory.
Technical Skills: Knowledge of ERP or WMS software MS Excel and basic data reporting.
Strong understanding of local logistics infrastructure ports customs and transportation systems in Ivory Coast.
Strong organizational and planning skills.
Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
