Assist the efforts of the Captive Licensing Team to ensure applications for new companies are tracked and processed efficiently in accordance with applicable South Carolina statues and regulations.
In conjunction with staff members thoroughly review captive applications for completeness and compliance.
Assist in completing the Captive Application Review Form for each captive application under the guidance of the Company Licensing Manager identify outstanding applications and problematic issues.
Ensure relevant licensing information is recorded and Department files and databases are updated in a timely manner.
Assist in building data management frameworks identifying data quality issues and collaborating to improve data management processes.
The intern will work with enterprise data and gain hands-on experience in data management and governance.
Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Must organize and maintain files in a logical and efficient manner.
Must have the ability to work with others and communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Excellent computer skills are required including Microsoft Office programs.
Significant Excel experience is required.
