Job Description

What Youll Do:

Here are some of the tasks youll be responsible for daily:

  • Turning down the bed which involves pulling back the bedspread fluffing pillows and sometimes placing a small treat or amenity on the pillow.
  • Tidying up clutter replacing used towels and ensuring the room is generally neat and presentable.
  • Refilling toiletries like shampoo lotion and soap as well as other amenities like tissues and stationery.
  • Emptying trash bins and replacing liners.
  • Closing curtains/blinds: Adjusting window coverings to create a restful ambiance.
  • Turning on soft lights to create a relaxing atmosphere.
  • Leaving personalized notes small treats or playing music to enhance the guest experience.
  • Coordinating with the front desk to deliver requested items or amenities to the room.
  • Assist with basic housekeeping duties in public areas or other areas as needed.
  • Report any guest requests or issues to the supervisor promptly.
  • Keep track of Do Not Disturb signs and rooms refusing service reporting this information to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Report any maintenance issues or missing items to management.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Interact with guests in a friendly and helpful manner.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Previous experience in hotel housekeeping preferred
  • Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and products
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts
  • Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work as a team to deliver an exceptional guest experience

When Youre Here:

Be prepared to accommodate varying schedules including nights weekends and holidays

This position will require standing and moving for 90% of the time sometimes in varying temperatures.
