Regional Sales Consultant (RSC)

Services Summary:

The Regional Sales Consultant (RSC) is responsible for engaging health care professionals (HCPs) in telephone conversations to promote assigned client product(s) maximize the product(s) selling potential and meet program and Client objectives. The RSC achieves this by developing and maintaining relationships with HCPs and by educating them about product features benefits safety profile and approved indications to ensure appropriate patient use. The RSC utilizes approved tools for product and program promotion and maintains a competent level of product program and customer activity knowledge.

Essential Services:

  • Manage daily call responsibilities according to defined expectations with the purpose of achieving KPIs
  • On behalf of Client promote Clients product(s) via outbound telephone calls by engaging assigned HCP targets in in-depth program discussions to attain individual territory and company goals for sales market share etc.
  • Respond to inbound calls from HCPs to address their questions regarding product(s) if required by the program.
  • Profile and manage targeted list of HCPs and provide value-added benefits to grow product volume.
  • Maintain call productivity and metrics that are required by program.
  • Prospecting: Successfully qualifying or disqualifying HCPs from a target list
  • Conduct outbound calls to HCPs to appropriately qualify or disqualify HCPs based on prospecting questions
  • Verify and complete required data entry in CRM system such as details of the targets responses and any follow-through actions
  • Effectively and persuasively communicate with customers using effective selling listening and negotiation skills proper terminology and approved messaging.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of Client product(s) and program.

  • Listen and respond appropriately to customer needs and questions.
  • Create and maintain a positive impression with client and clients customers.
  • Fully comply with all laws regulations and Amplity Policies Code of Conduct all privacy and data guidelines and relevant state and federal laws and regulations.
  • Participate in teleconference and live (when required) National regional and district meetings and training sessions and represent client at National and/or local conventions when applicable.

Key Working relationships:

  • Report to Amplity Sales Manager.
  • Work closely with other RSCs assigned to the program Amplity client services and members of Amplity home office support team from various departments.
  • Maintain a positive working relationship with customers and client contacts.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree required
  • 1 years of Pharma Sales experience
  • Oncology experience (preferred)
  • Clinical understanding of oncology (preferred).

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience working in or support of an oncology office and how they operate.
  • Ability to understand and explain complex scientific information via telephone.
  • Able to adapt to a rapidly changing marketing department.
  • Ability to speak up and advocate for the customer.
  • Solid presentation skills - Excellent verbal written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience and ability to use PowerPoint Word Excel and Salesforce.
  • Clear articulate and grammatically sound speech and professional phone manner.
  • Strong focus on providing customers with superior support and service.
  • Ability to learn understand and communicate complex information over the telephone.
  • Strong rapport building skills and active listening skills.
  • Excellent selling closing persuasion and presentation skills.
  • Ability to comprehend and communicate complex technical/medical terminology and to maintain the required technical expertise including competitive product knowledge.
  • Good organizational and planning skills strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member.
  • Flexibility and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Must be able to successfully complete client training and meet training expectations in order to proceed to servicing clients customers within the parameters of the program.

Credentialing Requirements:

As a representative of a pharmaceutical company you may be required to submit and maintain credentials such as training vaccinations and other job-related documentation to gain access to hospitals or healthcare providers. It is the Companys expectation that you comply with the requirements outlined by the facilities on your call plans.

Additionally certain geographic jurisdictions or hospital systems have requirements to apply for and obtain a representative license. At this time representatives working in the District of Columbia City of Chicago State of Nevada State of Oregon or those associated with Jackson Memorial Health in Miami-Dade County Florida may be required to obtain specific licenses. This list may be subject to change including the potential for additions or modifications. In the event of any significant changes you will be notified accordingly.
