Shipping/Receiving Admin Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Bilingual Shipping/Receiving Admin to manage daily shipping and receiving operations in our logistics facility. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in logistics or warehouse environments strong organizational abilities and fluency in English and Spanish.
Pay: $17.00-$18.00/hr
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily shipping and receiving activities ensuring timely and accurate processing of orders.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular audits.
- Analyze shipping and receiving data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with English and Spanish-speaking team members and clients.
- Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track shipments and inventory.
- Collaborate with transportation providers to ensure timely deliveries.
- Manage documentation for inbound and outbound shipments.
- Support client service level agreements (SLAs) and resolve operational issues.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associates or Bachelors degree preferred.
- 3 years of experience in shipping receiving or logistics roles.
- Fluent in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
- Proven track record in improving logistics operations and team performance.
- Proficient inWMS and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement practices.
- Familiarity withEDI and TMS systems.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
