Description

What you will do in the role

Operational Support & Execution

  • Assist in driving Microsoft Business Unit Gross Profit (GP) targets by supporting sales operations and partner engagement.
  • Oversee daily licensing operations including billing provisioning renewals and order management.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues and improve internal processes.
  • Serve as a point of escalation for resellers internal teams and strategic partners.
  • Support partner onboarding from qualification through to full integration into the Dicker Data ecosystem.
  • Communicate Microsoft licensing changes and promotions to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Order management and placement for all vendors within the BU remit
  • Ensure order issues are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with relevant departments to ensure customer orders amendments and enquiries are resolved accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Daily invoicing.
  • Raising renewal agreements for different vendor programs that sit within BU
  • Issue return authorisations in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Email inbox to be checked on a regular basis to ensure requests are attended to in a timely manner.
  • Answer all telephone calls presented in a professional and timely manner.
  • Utilise vendor websites to obtain relevant authorisation numbers certification levels and product qualification.
  • Manage tickets through shared mailboxes and Zoho.
  • Assist with licensing support and quoting where required.

Team Leadership & Enablement

  • Act as a deputy to the Licensing & Operations Manager stepping in during absences and supporting team leadership.
  • Ensure Software Sales Specialists are trained and equipped to meet SLAs and licensing compliance standards.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to team members on Microsoft licensing programs tools and procedures.
  • Lead internal knowledge-sharing sessions and contribute to the development of training materials.
  • Attend relevant vendor training when required.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge and understanding of the features and benefits of Dicker Data licensing and annuity programs and products.
  • Maintain a high level of initiative and enthusiasm and ensure a professional and helpful manner at all times.

Training and Quality

  • Undertake training with relevant vendor subject matter experts to build and maintain individual vendor knowledge. It is a requirement of this role that you achieve a comprehensive understanding of vendor ordering tools and end to end business process requirements.


Skills And Experiences

What you will need to succeed in the role

  • Strong understanding of Microsoft licensing programs and operational workflows.
    Proven experience in sales operations partner support or software licensing.
  • Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong administrative and business writing capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel Outlook Teams etc.).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across teams.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Strong level of written and verbal communication.
  • Pro-active and the ability to work with little supervision.
  • High degree of enthusiasm flexibility and initiative.
  • High degree of computer literacy.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Outlook and MS Excel.
