Job Summary
The Commercial and Operations Director will spearhead the development and execution of sales strategies for both physical retail and e-commerce channels ensuring revenue growth operational excellence and brand elevation across their 12 branches in Thailand.
This senior leadership role requires a strategic visionary with extensive retail commercial experience proven e-commerce expertise and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences in the luxury retail space.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement robust sales strategies for physical stores and e-commerce platforms to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence.
- Drive online sales growth by optimising the e-commerce platform enhancing user experience and executing digital marketing strategies.
- Oversee retail and e-commerce operations ensuring consistency in service quality inventory management and customer satisfaction across all channels.
- Lead mentor and develop a high-performing team of sales operations and e-commerce professionals fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify consumer trends competitive dynamics and opportunities for growth in both physical and online retail.
- Partner with marketing teams to develop integrated campaigns that boost brand visibility and drive traffic to stores and the e-commerce platform.
- Manage budgets analyse financial performance and monitor KPIs to ensure profitability and cost efficiency across all operations.
- Champion initiatives to elevate customer experience in-store and online aligning with the companys luxury service standards.
- Collaborate with branch managers and e-commerce teams to ensure seamless execution of strategies across all locations and digital platforms.
- Negotiate with suppliers and partners to secure favorable terms for products services and digital tools.
- Identify opportunities for innovation including new services digital enhancements or potential market expansion.
Qualifications
- Masters degree in business administration Management e.g or a related field is preferred. Bachelors degree required.
- 5-8 years of progressive experience in retail commercial operations with a strong focus on sales strategy and e-commerce execution.
Skills:
- Proven expertise in e-commerce sales including platform optimisation SEO and digital marketing.
- Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities.
- Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving skills.
- Advanced financial acumen for budgeting and performance analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of the luxury retail or spa industry is a plus.
- Language: Fluency in Thai and English (written and spoken).
- Willingness to travel to branches across Thailand as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Extensive experience in luxury retail with a focus on e-commerce growth.
- Deep understanding of the Thai retail market and online consumer behavior.
- Proficiency in e-commerce platforms (e.g. any Online Marketplace shopping platform or LineOA) and retail management systems.
