About the Role
We are seeking a results-driven and visionary professional to join our leadership team as a GM Finance. This is a unique opportunity to play a critical role in shaping the financial strategy and success of our dynamic international business. The position serves as a trusted advisor to executive management and is responsible for driving organisational excellence through robust financial leadership governance and insight. The ideal candidate will bring both strategic acumen and hands-on expertise with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels and build strong collaborative relationships.
Key Responsibilities for GM Finance Financial Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and execute the companys financial strategy aligned with organisational goals and growth ambitions.
- Lead the budgeting forecasting financial planning and analysis processes ensuring sound financial decision making.
- Provide timely and accurate financial reporting and insightful analysis to senior management and the board.
- Oversee financial risk management internal controls and compliance with all relevant statutory legal and regulatory requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement in finance operations processes and systems to maximise efficiency and accuracy.
- Manage cash flow capital management and investment strategies to ensure the organisations financial sustainability.
- Lead annual audit processes and ensure robust relationship management with external auditors banks tax authorities and other stakeholders.
- Support and challenge business units and stimulate value creation across all areas of the company.
Required Qualifications and Experience for GM Finance Financial Management
- Professional qualification such as ACA ACCA CIMA CPA or equivalent is essential.
- Substantial experience (typically 10 years) in progressively senior finance roles preferably within international or multi-entity environments.
- Demonstrable experience in financial leadership strategic planning and team management.
- Advanced knowledge of financial regulations accounting standards and compliance frameworks.
- Strong understanding of financial systems ERP platforms and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Proven track record of successful stakeholder management and organisational partnership.
- Exceptional analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages are advantageous.
