Job Summary:
HR Service Jobs is currently seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team as Airport Ground Staff in Guwahati Airport . As a member of the ground staff team you will play a crucial role in providing a smooth and efficient airport experience for passengers. You will be the face of the airport ensuring that all passengers receive exceptional service from check-in to departure.
Key Responsibilities:

Passenger Check-in: Assist passengers with check-in procedures baggage handling and ensuring that all travel documents are in order.

Customer Assistance: Provide excellent customer service by addressing passenger queries and concerns offering support for boarding seating arrangements and more.

Baggage Handling: Safely and efficiently manage luggage ensuring that baggage is correctly tagged and loaded for departure.
*
Flight Information : Ensure passengers are well-informed about flight schedules delays gate changes and other relevant information.
*
Security and Safety Procedures: Adhere to all airport security protocols including screening passengers and their belongings maintaining safety always.
*
Coordination with Airlines: Collaborate with airlines to ensure smooth boarding departures and smooth operations at the airport.
*
Emergency Response: Respond quickly and professionally in case of any emergencies or disruptions ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Educational Qualification: Minimum 102 or equivalent. A degree in hospitality or tourism is an added advantage.
*
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
*
Customer Service Orientation: Strong focus on providing outstanding customer service with a friendly and approachable attitude.
*
Attention to Detail: Ability to ensure accuracy in handling check-in processes baggage and passenger information.
*
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
*
Problem Solving Skills: Ability to handle passenger complaints or concerns with patience and professionalism.
*
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift light to moderate weights (such as bags).
Experience:

Freshers Welcome: No prior experience is required though any experience in hospitality tourism or customer service is a plus.
*
Experience in Aviation (Preferred): Previous experience in a ground staff role or other related positions at airports is desirable but not mandatory.
Working Hours:

Shift-based working hours including early mornings evenings weekends and public holidays. Flexibility is essential to accommodate the airports operational hours.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

Basic Computer Skills: Ability to use a computer for checking in passengers and handling booking systems.

Knowledge of Airport Procedures: Familiarity with airport and flight operations is a plus.
