The Opportunity:
West Liberty University is seeking applications for a Research Technician. The Research Technician will assist faculty in identifying aquatic macroinvertebrates as part of an existing research project.
Essential Functions of the position:
Perform scientific experiments. Record and analyze data accurately.- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment such as microscopes spectrometers and
centrifuges. - Maintain up-to-date laboratory notebook and prepare graphs tables slides and
summaries of data when requested. - Complete all required university safety and training modules.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in related field required
- 1-2 years experience preferred
