Job Description

We are looking for an innovative customer-obsessed and analytical marketing leader to join the Promotions & Events Team at Amazon Australia & Singapore Stores. Our vision is to deliver leading class online deal & shopping events for customers that are tailored to their needs.

You will be responsible for leading the planning and execution of deal events. In your role you will be gathering customer and category insights developing ideas and experiments building innovative solutions to delight customers and measuring impact. You will grow customer engagement (frequency of shopping basket building spend per customer) and retention through exceptional event execution.

You will be customer-obsessed demonstrate strong ownership and insist on high standards. You will collaborate with a team of diverse stakeholders across Product/Programs Vendor Management and Public Relations to inform and refine the customer engagement strategy and execution.

This position requires full-time in-office presence 5 days per week at our CBD location.


Key job responsibilities
- Project Management of Amazons Deal Events across both Australia & Singapore interacting with a variety of stakeholders and holding a high bar on our customer experience making sure customers will experience an exciting event.
- Develop and execute processes and tools to scale marketing efforts including automation.
- Build relationships with and influence teams across Vendor Management & Product/Programs to jointly deliver customer solutions.
- Work with partners to create scalable and personalized customer campaigns across owned channels (including Onsite & Outbound) to achieve customer goals.
- Conduct A/B tests and experiments to gather data on customer behavior and inform launch decisions.
- Uncover best practice including through Amazons global network to deliver value for Australian customers.
- Analyze data and dive deep into customer metrics and research to develop actionable insights that drive customer growth and increase engagement.

About the team
The AU & SG Deals & Events team is responsible for delivering exceptional shopping events to our customers and delight them with great deals and best-in-class shopping experiences tailored to their needs.

- 5 years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy end to end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
- Experience working cross functionally with non-tech teams
- Experience in complex problem solving and working in a tight schedule environment
- Bachelors degree in management business administration economics engineering marketing

- 2 years of driving process improvements experience
- Masters degree or Masters degree in management business administration economics engineering marketing
