What youll be doing in this role

The Sans Allied Health team of Physiotherapists Occupational Therapists Speech Pathologists Dietitians Social Workers and our Outpatient Services team of speciality Nurses provide direct patient care rehabilitation treatment and health improvement intervention to patients. As a pivotal member of our team the Receptionist plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of our services and fostering a collaborative patient-focused environment.

This is a varied role which will see you working across two desks greeting and assisting visitors with warmth and professionalism creating a welcoming atmosphere for all. Youll manage incoming phone inquiries and emails coordinate appointments and meetings prepare and distribute reports and assist with billing and invoicing.

This role is for 3 full days per week on Wednesday Thursday and Friday (this is a must).

Who were looking for

  • Youll have previous experience in a similar role with Administration and/or Secretarial qualifications and knowledge of Medical Terminology (preferable).
  • Youll be a people person with strong customer service skills capable of working with hospital staff clients patients and their families.
  • Youll be collaborative adaptable and be able to work independently and as part of a team with the ability to take feedback and adjust to changing needs and priorities.
  • Youll be computer literate with high proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
  • Youll be systematic organised able to multi-task under pressure have excellent attention to detail and able to carry tasks to completion.
  • Youll have outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Youll be empathetic systematic and prepared to embrace Adventist Healthcares everyday values of excellence and integrity.
