Job Description
St Peters Lutheran College is seeking to appoint a Primary Years Learning Support Teacher on a full-time permanent basis located at our Indooroopilly School. The purpose of this role is to plan and deliver a high-quality teaching and learning program that enables students to realize their learning potential and empower them to become life-long learners.
St Peters is a Co-Educational Day and Boarding School of the Lutheran Church located on 52 acres just 7 kilometres from Brisbane CBD. Established in 1945 St Peters has developed an enviable reputation in academic scholarship pastoral care and breadth of co-curricular programs through which it seeks to provide an exceptional student experience. Together Academic Staff and Corporate Staff provide an outstanding educational environment for students to grow and flourish.
- The role is responsible for delivering the Colleges Pastoral Care Well-being Programs and Life-wide Learning programs so that students feel known cared for and develop holistically.
- The successful candidate will work under the direction of the Head of Primary Years and Head of the Exceptional Learners Department liaising with Teachers across Prep - Year 4 providing assistance to relevant students across these year levels.
