Job Description
- Remote with quarterly travel to office in Chicago or Tampa
- Well Established enterprise providing IoT HW and SW
- Base Salary 200k-260k Bonus
This is a hands on architect and while you will not be writing production code need to have experience designing and developing IoT platform.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design extend and oversee an Azure based IoT platform (architecture & infrastructure)
- Drive strategic initiatives for scalability security cost management and system efficiency.
- Define technical strategies aligned with business goals and ensure best practices in architecture and code quality.
- Mentor and collaborate with development and operations teams while managing technical risks.
Experience & Skills
- 15 years in systems or software engineering
- 7 years designing system and platform architectures
- 5 years of cloud system architecture
- Cloud resource optimization (including cost management) expertise
- Azure expertise. Relevant certifications are nice to have
- Demonstratable experience with IAM data protection security
- Skilled in evaluating new technologies leading architecture reviews and aligning cross-functional teams.
- Ability to mentor and provide technical guidance to foster skill development within the team.
