Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join the ERP Transformation Project for one of our clients in Budapest. In this role you will play a critical part in supporting data migration ensuring reporting accuracy and implementing robust master data governance.

Location: Budapest (onsite)
Start: 01.09.2025
Duration: 7 months (extension options)
Tasks
Data Discovery & Requirements Gathering
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather data and reporting requirements
- Identify key data sources and define KPIs metrics and reporting hierarchies
- Analyze existing data structures and business processes to inform ERP design
Data Migration & Mapping
- Map legacy data to the new ERP structure
- Cleanse and standardize master data (e.g. customers vendors materials GL accounts)
- Support data enrichment transformation logic validation and reconciliation
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across systems
Reporting & Analytics
- Design and prototype dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g. Power BI Infor EPM)
- Translate business needs into data models and queries
- Ensure master data supports accurate and actionable reporting
Master Data Governance
- Define and document data standards naming conventions and validation rules
- Support the implementation of master data governance frameworks and tools
- Collaborate with data stewards and business data owners to maintain data quality
Testing & Validation
- Conduct testing and validation of reports and dashboards
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of data in ERP and reporting systems
Documentation & Training
- Document data definitions business rules and reporting logic
- Provide training and guidance to end-users on data usage and interpretation
Post-Go-Live Support
- Monitor data quality and reporting effectiveness post-implementation
- Identify and resolve data-related issues
- Propose continuous improvements in data management and reporting
Requirements
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in SQL and Power BI (or similar tools)
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle Microsoft Dynamics Infor)
- Deep understanding of master data management and data governance principles
- Knowledge of data migration cleansing and validation
- Familiarity with ETL processes data quality tools and reporting best practices
- Understanding of financial and supply chain data structures
- Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
- Fluent in Hungarian and English
