The Admissions Counselor position within Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Universitys (FranU) Office of Admissions plays a key collaborate role in advancing the enrollment goals and mission of the University. This individual will be responsible for articulating FranUs message to prospective students their families counselors and other constituents. The individual will promote FranU through a full range of Admissions activities including recruitment outreach travel Admissions decision-making and specific Admissions projects and responsibilities as assigned. #CB

- Territory Recruitment and Management
- Embrace and advance the Catholic and Franciscan mission of the University by ensuring that all activities associated with University events are consistent with the Universitys mission and implemented so as to achieve its goals.
- Represent the University and its Programs at recruitment events including high school and college visits college fairs visits to schools and community-based organizations and information sessions.
- Responsible for the management of an assigned recruiting territory working with students and families through the complete enrollment process from application generation to enrollment.
- Using data analysis to research plan and execute recruitment travel.
- Builds and cultivates relationships and partnerships with constituents such as secondary school counselors community-based organizations and professional organizations.
- Regular outreach to prospects through phone e-mail text and social media.
- Facilitate one-on-one campus visits with prospective students and their families.
- Track activities via Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System.
- Assists in executing on-campus recruitment events.
- Manage and coordinate personal travel schedule with Department needs in mind
- Maintain familiarity with institutional policies practices and codes for Admissions
- Interpret regulations and policies regarding Admissions as needed
- Use data and research to make informed decisions related to Territory Management Strategies

- Admissions Evaluations and Decision-Making
- Assists with all phases of the application processing review and Admissions decisions
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Undergraduate Admissions
- Ensure quality customer service
- Assist the Director of Undergraduate Admissions or peers with special projects
QualificationsExperience: One (1) yar of experience in Higher Education Admissions or Recruiting preferred
Education: Bachelors Degree
Special Skills: Ability to travel overnight and non-standard hours ability to lift objects up to 40 pounds
Licensure: Valid Louisiana Drivers License; If moving to Louisiana a valid Louisiana Drivers License is required within 30 days of start date
