FACILITIES MANAGER ROLE

The Facilities Manager (FM) is responsible for ensuring a high level of client satisfaction establishing and managing the Facilities Management team and or supply chain team within their areas of responsibility delivering key initiatives as well as ensuring consistency in processes reporting and operational FM delivery for their areas of responsibility. The role ensures efficient and consistent operation of all facility activities to meet contractual obligations with respect to the property portfolio of the Client in Israel helping to achieve the Clients regional outsourcing objectives of cost savings consistency and risk management.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Leadership
    • Assist the Regional Facilities Manager to develop the vision and strategy of the Client account plans and ensuring the client receives exceptional delivery
    • Implement the strategy to drive the capability to deliver services as instructed
    • Understand the local clients key business drivers focus the supply chain and sub teams to ensure those priorities are aligned with our deliverables
    • Ensures the supporting Facilities Management team within their demise are high performing
  • Client/Stakeholder Management
    • Serves as a primary sub country point of contact for Jones Lang LaSalle for the Client Account with regards to service delivery and escalation point
    • Accountable for the country service delivery to meet contractual obligations of Jones Lang LaSalle for the Client Account
    • Manage relationships with key stakeholders in the Clients organisation
    • Implement country business plans which meets the Clients outsourcing and Jones Lang LaSalles objectives for the Client account
    • Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of the Clients business and key factors influencing their requirement for our services
  • Financial Management
  • Assist the Regional Facilities Manager with the development of country property management budgets and forecasts in accordance with the financial timetable.
  • Be responsible for achievement of the agreed financial targets; revenue expenses and debtors targets.
  • Meet the agreed country growth targets for their country.
  • Develop an understanding of the services provided by Jones Lang LaSalle. Identify opportunities to cross-sell services and make recommendations for growth.
  • Contract Management
    • Ensure adherence to the contract
    • Responsible for the achievement of key performance indicators service levels and other measures as contracted
    • Escalation of requirement for change and ensure change control process is adopted and implemented
    • Drive vendors for excellence and cost efficiencies
  • Operations
  • Responsible to the Regional Facilities Manager for management of all Facilities Management resources involved in the delivery of services in their Israeli Client locations. Eg. performance assessment maintenance etc.
  • Responsible for the implementation of technology systems to support service delivery and ensure the required reporting from the systems
  • Implement standard operating procedures and processes
  • Implement and manage all regional initiatives and programs as detailed by the Regional Facilities Manager.
  • Drive client specific initiatives such as savings targets benchmarking and best practices
  • Source transfer and implement best practices to their areas of responsibility in line with directed requirements
  • Provide reporting standard operating procedures systems and HR practices in line with the regional consistent approach
  • Prepare country reporting to the satisfaction of the Regional Facilities Manager
  • Develop implement and test in accordance with the contract all Business Continuity Plans for the properties within their remit Ensuring these are aligned with the Client plans
  • Follow all Health & Safety and Environmental requirements that are defined on work instructions or communicated in training
  • Follow required emergency prevention and operational controls
  • Report all accidents occupational illnesses and emergencies

CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION: KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

Ideal Experience

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in a similar role
  • In country qualifications in Facilities Management / Engineering will be advantageous
  • Has managed Facilities Teams
  • Has experience in handling client and/or Firm sensitivities knowing when to escalate with urgency or how to de-escalate certain risks
  • Has demonstrated experience in balancing the interests of the client with those of the Firm
  • Has experience in translating client needs into existing or new business growth
  • Has handled a P&L
