Job Description

Description
We are looking for a and nbsp;senior solutions designer to lead the design and of modernization strategies aimed at transitioning legacy applications from IBM technologies to Azure-based platforms. Work closely with cross-functional teams to assess current systems pinpoint areas for improvement and craft thorough modernization roadmaps. Architect solutions that are both scalable and secure utilizing Azure services and adhering to best practices. Offer technical leadership mentorship and guidance to the development team ensuring compliance with coding standards security protocols and project timelines. and nbsp;

Key deliverables will include: and nbsp;
and nbsp; and nbsp;
- Design and Documentation and nbsp;
- Provide the design and produce design document to capture all details and nbsp;
- Regularly update the design document as the development progresses. and nbsp;
- Capture all the decision points on solutioning and design and rationales and nbsp;
- Provide technical documents that assists OPS checkpoints and amp; gating when needed and nbsp;
and nbsp; and nbsp;
- Development and nbsp;
- Lead development team on implementation of the design. and nbsp; and nbsp;
- Writing and/or generating code conducting unit tests on written code and nbsp;
and nbsp; and nbsp;
- Support and nbsp;
- Assist with troubleshooting production issues and support day-to-day operations and nbsp;
Consultant deliverables will include: and nbsp;
- Complete work and achieve milestones within the assigned deadlines; and nbsp;
- Notify the Cluster/Ministry project Manager in writing of any issues or other material concerns related to the Assignment Deliverables as soon as the he/she becomes aware of them; and nbsp;
- Submit Deliverables for the Cluster/Ministry approval as they are completed; and nbsp;
- Comply with the Ontario Government and the Cluster/Ministry security procedures and practices; and nbsp;
- Comply with the Ontario Government and the Cluster/Ministry architecture/technology standards and best practices; and nbsp;
- Comply with the Ontario Government and the Cluster/Ministry Conflict of Interest and Confidentiality Guidelines; and nbsp;
- Provide knowledge and skill transfer to a designated Cluster/Ministry staff; and nbsp;
- And Comply with the Ontario Government I and amp;IT Directive Operational Policy on the I and amp;IT Project Gateway Process and other applicable Guidelines Standards and Procedures. and nbsp;

- 10 years of experience on backend design and development using REST Web Services JPA hibernates database SQL PL/SQL. and nbsp;
- Strong expertise in enterprise integration design including experience with integration patterns technologies design principle and best practices. and nbsp;
- In-depth knowledge of Spring Framework especially Spring Integration and experience designing and building integration solutions using it. and nbsp;
- Strong knowledge of message-oriented middleware and enterprise service buses as IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACEs) or MuleSoft and experience designing and building solutions using them. and nbsp;
- Experience with integration technologies such as JMS AMQP or REST and an understanding of how to use them in Azure context and nbsp;
- Hands-on experience with integration technologies such as JMS AMQP or REST and an understanding of how to use them in Azure Integration context. and nbsp;
- Experience with data model database such as Oracle SQL server. and nbsp;
- Experience with cloud-based integration solutions and nbsp;
