You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe HR Generalist reporting directly to the Strategic HR Business Partner will contribute to the design and standing up of the Department. This includes supporting the design and implementation of proactive HR strategies and solutions focused on recruitment onboarding and integration of resources with Client Partner and the Project Delivery Partner resources and alignment with corporate policies and appropriate public sector policies and procedures.

Support the development of a resourcing and recruitment strategy.
Support the recruitment of personnel to major program to include management of recruitment campaigns drafting of job descriptions arranging interviews and arranging contractual information for new starters
Support the onboarding of personnel to major Programs to include management and coordination of specific onboarding requirements interfacing with the Onboarding Manager as appropriate.
Support the Strategic HR Business Partner with the requirements of the Department
Provide administration support with the administration of both permanent (CID) and fixed term contracts of employment to all relevant employees.
Support the resolution of HR queries raised by staff incl. contractual obligations leave queries etc.
Support staff on general human resources matters including Learning & Development Performance Management Wellbeing etc
Support integration of resources with Client Partner and the Project Delivery Partner reinforcing culture.
Work closely with the Strategic HR Business Partner to support a range of strategic HR initiatives
Support the alignment of policies and public sector policies and procedures and coordinate updates as appropriate.
Provide updates to HR Corporate division in relation to staff on the major Programme
Contribution to Corporate HR initiatives as required.
Perform additional tasks activities or other duties as may be required or assigned as part of the role.
Qualifications :
5 years experience of working in a responsible position in a busy office environment in the area of human resources.
Knowledge of Irish employment law and practices
Understanding of the Irish public service is desirable
Additional Information :
Strong written verbal presentation & report writing skills.
Excellent administration skills including Excel Powerpoint
Highly organised with strong attention to detail and experience of managing a significant workload
Ability to use own initiative with strong multitasking capabilities
Ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise tasks effectively
Experience of HR systems and Power BI would be desirable
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with all colleagues
Driven with a focus on achieving goals and seeing them through.
