As a Project Manager within Data Commerce Solutions you will manage and coordinate strategic projects for our data driven Data Insights & Data Science portfolio. You will collaborate closely with the leadership team to identify challenges solve complex problems and mitigate risks. You will lead various cross-functional projects which include current operational initiatives new business ventures client projects and strategic partnerships.
You are a detail-oriented and experienced individual with a strong background in project management particularly in data-centric fields. You are self-motivated and versatile and can manage multiple priorities and provide problem-solving leadership with minimal oversight.
What you will do:
- Collaborate with Data Insights and Data Scienceteams as well as other Fiserv divisions to undertake diverse assignments that align with the needs interests and priorities of the business unit.
- Lead the planning execution and delivery of assigned projects within the Data Insights & Data Science portfolio.
- Define project scope goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans ensuring resource availability and allocation and deliver every project on time within budget and scope.
- Establish key performance metrics develop dashboards and prepare management reports to monitor and communicate project progress.
- Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
- Establish regular communication cadences and collaborate with Leaders to ensure successful project execution.
- Present project status updates findings and recommendations to the Leadership Team.
What you will need to have:
- Bachelors degree in business operations data science orrelated field.
- 6 years of progressive experience in Project Management particularly in data-centric or technology-driven environments.
- Proven experience in managing the delivery of data-driven products and solutions to clients.
- Familiarity with data engineering and data analytics tools and platforms (e.g. SQL Python R Hadoop Spark).
What would be great to have:
- Expertise in FinTech Banking Payments Fraud and a strong understanding of Data Engineering and Data Science principles.
- Experience utilizing data and metrics to validate theories confirm assumptions and measure project success.
- A constant desire to learn grow and share knowledge fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification or equivalent.
