Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Communications Representative to join our team. In this role you will serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications ensuring consistent messaging that aligns with our organizational goals and values.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute effective communication strategies to promote the organizations objectives.
- Draft edit and distribute internal and external communications including press releases newsletters and social media posts.
- Manage and update the organizations social media presence to enhance engagement and outreach.
- Coordinate communication efforts for events ensuring all messaging aligns with the organizations brand.
- Monitor media coverage and prepare reports to assess the impact of communication initiatives.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather information and create compelling content for various platforms.
Skills Required:
- Bachelors degree in Communications Public Relations Marketing or a related field.
- Proven experience in communications or public relations preferably in a corporate or non-profit environment.
- Exceptional writing editing and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital communication strategies.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively under pressure.
