Job Description

APPLY ONLINE: on the RSD online Title: TeacherContract Days: 190The Teacher is directly supervised and evaluated by the schools of Employment:Bachelors or masters degree in the subject area.A teaching license or plan for obtaining one approved by the district.A passion and love for learning and teaching time management planning and organizational analytical and problem-solving and a positive interpersonal and written and verbal communication ability to establish rapport and build professional relationships with students.A high degree of professionalism.A growth School District Teacher Responsibilities:Following all TESS rubric proficient level expectations for their role. Developing lesson plans in the relevant subject area and grade and ensuring all lessons align with curriculum up classroom rules and safety regulations and ensuring all students understand a range of appropriate teaching materials and methods to deliver additional support and interventions for struggling students and extra resources to those ahead of the students for tests exams presentations experiments and other assessments and providing feedback and reports to students and and interacting in staff and parent meetings to provide helpful recommendations or voice at the building for the established hours of 7:45am - 4:00pmEstablishing rapport and professional relationships with students staff and students in class during events and on field students overall wellbeing and liaising with school counselors and other staff members when there are concerns or ongoing learning initiatives like workshops lectures conferences and other events where you can expand education 1-3 night events such as family nights literacy nights award assemblies as requested by the with colleagues to analyze duties as assigned.
