This is one (1) full-time permanent position working 75 hours biweekly.
At Tourism and Culture we are a dynamic team of professionals dedicated to Yukons vibrant tourism arts heritage and culture historic sites and archival communities. We are passionate about our pride in Yukon the beauty of its land the character of its people and the uniqueness of its history and culture.
Reporting to the Manager Policy and Communications the Policy Analyst identifies policy needs and coordinates the development of departmental policy responses. This position researches analyzes writes and presents on a variety of cultural and tourism policy-related issues to inform program decisions and provide advice and information to the senior management team and the Minister. This position is responsible for supporting the Legislature and legislative processes conducting internal and external engagement preparing Cabinet and Management Board Submissions and preparing evidence-based policy proposals and documents.
We are seeking a candidate with strong writing analysis research and oral presentation skills. If you can work collaboratively with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders and have a passion for Yukon tourism and culture this is the position for you.
