Position: APS5 Funding Arrangement Manager
Location: Perth WA
Estimated Start Date: ASAP
Engagement Type: Labour hire
Duration:
Approx. 12-month contract with potential to extend

Salary:$57.40 per hour plus 12% superannuation
Security Clearance: Ability to obtain Baseline clearance

Job Overview:

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Funding Arrangement Manager to join a high-profile government department in a fast-paced and strategic environment. This is a role where you will be responsible for the planning administration and conduct of grants (funding agreements). This role is perfect for a high-performing and professional individual who can gather and analyse evidence to assess funding recipient performance and is driven to help deliver outcomes for vulnerable and disadvantages Australians.

Duties:

  • Collaborate to build productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assess and monitor the performance of grant recipients against agreed objectives targets and outcomes in the grant agreement.
  • Identify document and escalate issues and risks that may impact the progress of funding rounds or a grant recipients ability to achieve policy or program outcomes.
  • Address instances of poor performance or non-compliance with input from a supervisor to achieve the policy and program outcomes.
  • Contribute to a culture of innovation and change through implementing business improvement strategies and the respectful contesting of ideas.
  • Maintain knowledge of relevant program guidelines legislation and policy frameworks.
  • Timely and accurate records management and use of departmental specific IT systems.

Eligibility:

  • Australian Citizenship is required.

  • Must have the ability to obtain a Baseline security clearance.

  • Must be able to pass a criminal history check.
