Job Description
ATCOs Australian operations are headquartered in Perth Western Australia and specialise in creating innovative customer focused energy and infrastructure solutions. ATCO owns and operates Western Australias largest gas distribution network with more than 750000 connection points and 14000km of pipelines.
We are currently seeking aProject Support Officerto join ourNetwork Expansion Team. This role is pivotal in supporting the development and implementation of capital projects ensuring alignment with company policies and contributing to the successful delivery of infrastructure initiatives.
What You Will Do:
- Monitor track and report on project deliverables to ensure alignment with time cost and quality metrics.
- Provide solutions to project-related issues and escalate variances to the Capital Project Manager.
- Contribute to project reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist in preparing presentations risk assessments and project status updates.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Track project expenditure and report against forecasts within the Capital Works Program.
- Deliver accurate and timely project management reports.
Exposure & Experience:
Essential:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
- Strong scheduling and time management capabilities.
- Proficiency in SAP Microsoft Office Suite and Power BI (highly desirable).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment contributing to a positive and productive team culture
Desirable
- Experience in project management including budgeting reporting and business case development.
- Formal Project Management qualification
