PURPOSE:
To provide critical support to and within the Human Resources Department including maintenance of employee data compliance with all laws and company policies and assistance in the execution of HR initiatives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Enter and maintain employee data in multiple data bases and software systems
Create metrics with advanced tables and charting in Excel to analyze payroll and employment data
Complete verifications of employment for management
Manage probation evaluation program
Conduct Exit Interviews and create metrics to analyze turnover data
PURPOSE
To provide critical support to recruit support train and place employees in the right roles among leading HR based project and assisting the President and COO. This position reports to the Senior Director of Human Resources with a dotted line to our President and COO.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Enter and maintain employee data in multiple data bases and software systems
Create metrics with advanced tables and charting in Excel to analyze payroll and employment data
Complete verifications of employment for management
Manage probation evaluation program
Conduct Exit Interviews and create metrics to analyze turnover data
Administers New Employee Orientation
QUALIFICATIONS:
Valid Driver License
2 year degree and 2 years experience in Business HR or other related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience or 4 year degree.
Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent data entry and typing skills preferred
Human Resources experience preferred
Detail-oriented analytical thinker and problem-solver
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and react to change productively
Ability to navigate multiple computer systems
Ability to work on tasks independently or in a team environment
Excellent attendance
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Primarily sedentary work which involves sitting most of the time
May be occasionally required to exert up to 20 pounds of force and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift carry push pull or otherwise move objects
The general office environment is favorable; Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are minimal hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise dust etc;
Visual Acuity including regular use of items including a computer screen or monitor
Manual dexterity is regularly required including fingering grasping and typing; manual dexterity includes repetitive motion of the wrists hands and fingers
Talking and hearing required to communicate with and listen to others to share or receive information; May be occasionally exposed to noise including telephone office machinery and conversations of others
