The Automation Technician ensures their assigned machines are operating as intended and as efficient as possible with a limited amount of scrapped product. They are also responsible for carrying out any requests from the Automation Supervisor. Duties and responsibilities- Operate monitor and maintain their assigned machines.
- Ensure their production the machines are functioning properly and adjusting as needed.
- Carry out daily tasks such as completing hourly glove counts and end of shift scrap weighing.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on automated machinery to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Ensure their machines are kept generally clean.
- Monitor glove counts and adjust as needed
- Troubleshoot faulty equipment.
- Monitor equipment performance and log findings in maintenance tracking systems.
- Support equipment startups shutdowns and changeovers as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools equipment and work areas.
Qualifications - Ability to think logically and work through complex problems.
- 2 years of experience working with industrial automation or manufacturing machinery.
- Fast learner and desire to learn new things.
- Basic mechanical aptitude.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Works well with others.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.

Working Conditions- Work Hours:
- Process engineers operate in 12-hour shifts
- Overtime: compensated according to labor laws.
- Breaks: 30-minute lunch break and two 15-minute rest breaks per shift.
