Job Description
MalaceHR is seeking a versatile and experienced Maintenance Technician with strong skills in carpentry plumbing electrical and painting. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who can perform a wide range of facility maintenance tasks to ensure the proper operation safety and appearance of commercial buildings.
Key Responsibilities:

Carpentry: Repair and install doors frames drywall cabinetry and other structural elements

Plumbing: Maintain and repair sinks toilets water lines and other plumbing fixtures
-
Electrical: Perform basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs including lighting outlets switches and minor installations
-
Painting: Prepare surfaces patch holes and apply interior and exterior paint as needed
-
Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment
-
Complete work orders and preventive maintenance tasks in a timely manner
-
Maintain an organized work environment and manage maintenance tools and supplies
-
Communicate effectively with supervisors and facility personnel regarding repair needs and status updates

Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety codes and company policies
Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or GED required
-
3 years of general maintenance experience including hands-on work in carpentry plumbing electrical and painting
-
Working knowledge of building systems and maintenance procedures
-
Ability to read and interpret technical documents blueprints and manuals

Basic understanding of OSHA safety standards

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on ladders or in confined spaces as needed

HVAC or other trade certifications are a plus but not required
