Job Overview
As a JavaScript Automation Lead you will be responsible for end-to-end test automation for web/mobile applications working in a fast-paced collaborative environment. This includes designing developing maintaining automation frameworks and contributing toward overall quality initiatives and CI/CD integration.
Primary Responsibilities-
Own the QA and automation strategy for assigned applications

Design implement and maintain automation frameworks and test scripts using JavaScript and Playwright

Develop robust test automation solutions for web and mobile platforms (using Selenium/Appium)

Analyze and debug automation failures providing insights for quality improvement

Collaborate with cross-functional teams across geographies (US team involvement required including night calls)

Identify areas of improvement and implement automation enhancements

Ensure CI/CD integration and maintain automation pipelines

Maintain documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing

Strong JavaScript programming skills with OOPs concepts

Experience with JS-based testing frameworks such as Mocha Chai

Web UI automation using Selenium/Appium

QA methodologies and structured testing approaches

Hands-on with Git Jenkins bug tracking & test management tools

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong ownership and accountability team collaboration

Knowledge of Playwright framework

Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps workflows

Exposure to non-desktop/web/mobile QA environments

Bachelor of Engineering / Masters in Computer Science or related discipline

Equivalent degrees with relevant experience are also acceptable
