Job Advertisement: Part-Time Dietary Aide Trinity Ridge

Position: Part-Time Dietary Aide
Shifts Available:
First Shift and Second Shift
Compensation:
$13.00/hour with shift differential available
Schedule:
- Part-time with benefit eligibility
- Availability required every other weekend
- Participation in every other holiday rotation

Responsibilities:
- Assist with food preparation under the guidance of the Cook or Assistant Director of Dining Services.
- Prepare beverages cereals breads salads and desserts based on planned menus and diet cards.
- Set up meal carts and maintain cleanliness in kitchen storage and dishwashing areas.
- Operate the dishwasher and manage heavy dish racks.
- Record and monitor dish machine temperatures.
- Store food and supplies appropriately ensuring everything is labeled and dated.
- Stock and clean diet kitchens cabinets and refrigerators.
- Prepare the staff dining room for meals and replenish supplies.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 6 months to 1 year in a food service establishment and/or healthcare food service establishment.
- ServSafe certification or equivalent preferred but not required.
- Attention to detail particularly concerning dietary needs and meal orders.
- Compassionate and patient when interacting with elderly residents and their families.
- Ability to lift and carry between 50 to 75 pounds and manage exposure to varied temperatures and humidity.
