Role Description
The Academic Coordinator will play a central role in managing academic programs maintaining standards and supporting both instructors and students. This position requires strong leadership organizational skills and a deep understanding of vocational education frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the planning and implementation of training programs across multiple trades or disciplines
- Supervise and support instructors to ensure effective teaching and adherence to curriculum
- Monitor student performance attendance and academic progress
- Ensure academic compliance with institutional policies and accreditation standards
- Develop class schedules exam timetables and academic calendars
- Organize faculty meetings training sessions and professional development activities
- Review and update course materials in collaboration with subject experts
- Handle academic documentation including assessments evaluations and progress reports
- Act as a liaison between faculty administration and external stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Education Management or a relevant technical/vocational field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in academic coordination or training program management
- Familiarity with vocational education systems and competency-based training models
- Strong organizational communication and leadership skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and academic management tools
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Urdu
