Job Description
The Head of Operations Engineering at our aseptic beverage manufacturing facility plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless engineering operations across the organization. This position is crucial for fostering collaboration driving continuous improvement and maintaining operational excellence. The role involves collaborating with Maintenance EH&S Process Controls and Reliability Engineering to manage plant renovations improvement projects and facility expansions while ensuring efficient operations and supporting production and downtime schedules.

Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning development and implementation of processes systems and resource allocation within the Engineering Department
- Monitor analyze and report on efficiency KPIs driving continuous improvements
- Lead initiatives to streamline engineering operations and reduce downtime
- Oversee budgets such as CapEx training and consulting
- Manage Engineering Drawing controls and processes
- Coordinate communication among departments through CMMS
- Collaborate with Production and integrate existing work into engineering schedules
- Identify and coordinate larger planned shutdowns
- Support EH&S with procedures and safety signoffs
- Establish and implement engineering policies and standards
- Perform other duties as assigned ensuring adherence to SQF and Food Safety Standards
Qualifications
- 10 years of related engineering experience
- 5-7 years of experience managing capital projects budgets and timelines
- Proven leadership and supervisory experience
- Experience in manufacturing and engineering operations
- Strong knowledge of FDA and PMO design requirements preferred
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices in the food industry preferred
Education Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Industrial Chemical Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required
- MBA preferred
