They must comply with federal state and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation enforcing adherence to requirements and advising management on needed actions. They will maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops reviewing professional publications establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies.Essential Job Functions:- Conduct full cycle hiring process.
- Coordinates recruiting activities such as career fairs and related events.
- Onboard and process field and office new hires.
- Administers and evaluates random periodic drug screen process and other drug screens as needed.
- Process and evaluate background checks.
- Distributes required notices and communicates benefits information to staff.
- Processes benefit changes submits weekly contributions and disability claims.
- Audits benefit paycheck deductions enrollment and PTO
- Administers Family and Medical Leave and other leaves of absence ADA and COBRA.
- Assists the HR Manager in tracking analyzing and reporting key HR metrics possessing the ability to use Excel spreadsheets graphing tables calculations and automation efficiently to process large quantities of data relevant to HR tasks.
- Administers various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel.
- Assists in development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures.
- Monitors the performance evaluation program.
- Handles employee relations and performance counseling.
- Assisting in the definition of career tracks.
- Assisting in training company leaders on how to conduct career coaching.
- Assists in the development and implementation of training programs on HR-related topics.
Executive Management Support- Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
- Administers parts of the affirmative action program and federal contractor requirements and local contractor requirements.
- Assists in filing EEO-1 and Vets-100 reports annually.
- Processes monthly EEO and utilization reports maintains other records reports and logs to conform to regulations.
- Distributes State Federal and Company required postings.
- Assists in evaluation of reports decisions and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
- Invoices: Verifies and codes HR related invoices (drug screens background checks benefits compliance posters recruitment ads).
Administration and Information Management:- Maintains appropriate electronic and hard-copy files for the general HR processes.
- Maintains Human Resource Information System records and compiles reports from database.
- Audits HR records.
- Provides routine reports regarding the HR processes to the Human Resources Director and company executives.
- Provides day-to-day support for all HR Team members.
- Helps educate train and develop other HR staff.
- Creates procedures for new HR processes and updates existing procedures for improvement.
- Troubleshoots regularly to resolve any HR related matters.

- 5 years of Human Resource experience or 4 years of education and 1 year of Human Resource experience
- Intermediate/Advanced-Level Excel Experience including but not limited to proficiency with Pivot Tables VLOOKUPs Formulas/Functions Macros Data Visualization
Preferred Education and Experience- Masters degree in human resources business or related
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification
