Become part of the Electric Power Systems team as a Contracts Manager and play a critical role in ensuring the seamless administration of contracts throughout their lifecycle. You will be responsible for coordinating the review of customer requirements managing proposal generation and negotiations and ensuring that contract terms are met across various departments. In this position you will support the Integrated Program Team (IPT) to guarantee the successful delivery of contractual obligations while also managing financial and operational impacts.
This role offers valuable opportunities to build expertise in contract management support risk mitigation efforts and enhance your skills in navigating complex contracts while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and audit standards.
What You Will Do
- Maintain and organize Contracts Audit Artifacts.
- Manage all aspects of contract administration such as coordinating review of customer requirements proposal generation and negotiation contract review and acceptance contract requirements flowdown within the organization change management and contract closeout.
- Draft interpret and manage contract documents and review and negotiate terms and conditions of customer agreements.
- Support the Integrated Program Team (IPT) in management of the program and ensure contractual delivery requirements (related to data software hardware etc.) are met.
- Manage financial and operational impacts to the Business Unit including accounts receivable management.
- Manage customer interface and correspondence and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and efficient manner.
- Support change management and risk and opportunity management by assessing proposing and negotiating the impact of potential changes to contractual scope cost schedule or technical performance.
- Support record retention organize evidence of adherence to policies procedures and work instructions and support audits.
What You Will Learn

Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
- U.S. (non-dual) citizenship is required as only U.S. (non-dual) citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Qualifications We Prefer
- Government Contracting (FAR 15 / FAR 12) experience
- Experience in a customer facing role as Seller to other major Aerospace & Defense companies
- Experience reviewing interpreting and negotiating terms and conditions
- Proposal and contract strategy experience

The salary range for this role is 101000 USD - 203000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
