About the Team

Our team is on the cutting-edge setting standards in quality efficiency and security for product teams at SEL. Join our team to help our company modernize standardize and harden the security of build test and release processes for software and firmware development teams. You will work with smart friendly talented and motivated colleagues who will collaborate with you. We are looking for a team member who understands build systems and security practices can write or refactor automation can provide technical support for product teams and who can learn new tools quickly as the project or task requires.

A typical day might include the following:

• Responding to requests for assistance troubleshooting a CI Issue

• Creating tools or scripts to automate some part of our CI process

• Managing build test and security tools and infrastructure

• Virtual meetings with our team our partners and our customers

• Windows and Linux

• Visual Studio VS Code Xilinx Vivado and Yocto

• C and related compilers and tool chains for embedded Linux products

• Python Shell and PowerShell for automation code

• Go for API services IAC Tool plugins

• Java and Groovy for Jenkins plugins and shared libraries

• C# for test automation of windows desktop apps

• Typescript for test automation of web apps

• CI/CD with Jenkins GitHub and ArgoCD

• Relational Time Series Graph databases using both SQL and AQL queries

• Infrastructure and networking on premise

• Build tools and package managers for all major languages

• Test frameworks for all major languages

• Common Infrastructure as Code Tools

• Containers and Virtual Machines

• Orchestration with Kubernetes and Helm

• Observability Tools and Security Tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with firmware build systems and test automation

• Experience with embedded linux development and security practices

• Experience with emulation and hardware in loop testing

Pay Range Data:

Associate DevOps Engineer $78000 $95000. DevOps Engineer $88600 $108100. Lead DevOps Engineer $101700 $124000. We base our starting pay offer on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience training knowledge and skills. Our ranges are determined by job responsibility and location
