Shift hours are Friday Saturday & Sunday from 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

What You Will Do:

The AWW Operations Supervisor oversees production operations (shop floor management workforce management and flow disruption management) and

manages the work of manufacturing production disciplines in the Operations function.

  • Reduce expenses and increase productivity across all product lines

  • Manages employee performance development and training / skills matrix to ensure team competencies and capabilities to reach the business goals and expectations.

  • Practice and Maintain 5S standards in the workplace; ensures all quality related items are complete and documented to meet established quality standards; ensure strict adherence to all Health & Safety Ethics Compliance and Quality protocols

  • Monitors manufacturing production performance to business KPIs for Safety People Quality Delivery and cost; drive a continuous improvement culture across the operations workforce focusing on process improvement to ensure efficiency of operations is meeting company targets.

  • Supports scheduling initiatives so that production schedules are completed in line with customer demand

  • Supports material management processes in coordinating activities for materials and logistics problem resolution to ensure materials availability is in line with production schedules

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelors degree and 5 or more years experience in an engineering machining manufacturing operations management or quality environment or an Associates degree and 7 or more years experience in an engineering machining manufacturing operations management or quality environment

  • In absence of a degree 9 or more years experience in an engineering machining manufacturing operations management or quality environment

  • Prior experience in a leadership role and experience interacting effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.

  • U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Technical knowledge of CNC machinery and the practices and processes to operate these in an effective manner

  • Experience using SAP

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers as they are essential to the development of our engines.

The salary range for this role is 82000 USD - 164000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including but not limited to individual performance business unit performance and/or the companys performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
