Euraxess: Title: Research assistant - Rethinking the eco-social determinants of health inequities through the transdisciplinary and intersectoral lens: European Conference 2025 (ESDHI 2025). REF: CPIS-PSR
Position Overview:
We are looking for a Research Assistant to support the logistic and administrative committees for the ESDHI 2025 Rethinking the Eco-Social Determinants of Health Inequities through a Transdisciplinary and Intersectoral Lens European Conference. This role will play a central part in ensuring the completion of the conference. The successful candidate will work with the conference team to manage the conference email contact experts participate in the organization meetings and overall administrative activities related to the conference execution. It is necessary to be present at the conference and previous days (April and May 2025).
Responsibilities:
Email managing: Maintain an organized inbox for the conference ensuring timely responses delegating tasks and flagging important details for the team. Track follow-ups and outstanding requests.
Experts communications: Act as a point of contact for speakers panelists and invitees providing updates requesting necessary documents and ensuring a seamless experience for participants.
Event Planning Support: Collaborate with the organizing team to coordinate the planning and execution of conference logistics.
Attendee Engagement & Support: Help respond to attendee inquiries and provide assistance during the event. Ensure a positive experience for participants.
Writing reports: Work alongside the conference team to draft and compile reports for co-founders and collaborators summarizing key updates and outcomes.
Post conference Support: Assist in creating consolidating session notes editing reports and deliverables in English preparing attendance certificates and analyzing participant feedback. Help create materials to assess event success for future iterations.

Benefits
Job Location: Barcelona Spain
Contract Type: Part-time (17.5h/week). Indefinite according to the provisions of article 23 bis of the Llei 14/2011 of 1 June on Science Technology and Innovation.
Group PSR3U
Gross Salary: 14.338.20/year (17.5h/week)
The contract include access to Spains public health and social security system
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors degree in social or health sciences.
At least 1 year of experience in Social Determinants of Health and Social Policy
Advanced fluency in English (C1 or Native) both spoken and written
Desired Qualifications:
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse and multidisciplinary team
Prior experience in promoting academic or health-related events is a plus
Availability of working on-site and travel if required for the conference
Key Responsibilities:
Managing the conference email
Elaborating letter of invitation to experts and follow au the confirmation
Participating in the logistics and communication meetings to provide support to the team
Elaborating reports during and post conference
Logistic activities pre and during the conference
Assisting during the conference days
Selection criteria: (only applications from candidates who fulfill the requirements mentioned above will be evaluated and interviewed)

Relevant experience and expertise: 1-5 points
