As our Social Media Manager youll do more than manage channels youll help shape how pet lovers around Australia experience and engage with Royal Canin online. Youll lead the strategy and creation of engaging insight-driven content that builds community boosts brand love and supports our mission of science-led pet nutrition.

Working closely with passionate teams across Brand Marketing Corporate Affairs and Sales (both locally and globally)youll be at the heart of our digital storytelling. From content creation and campaign planning to performance analysis and trendspotting youll help us stay one step ahead in the fast-moving world of social media.

What are we looking for

Degree qualified in Marketing Communications or a related field with 35 years of hands-on social media experience in a brand or agency setting.

Skilled in project management with the ability to develop clear briefs for agencies and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Expert in social media channels and the role they play in engaging shoppers and driving desired outcomes across the full marketing funnel

Strong knowledge of specific platforms such as META business manager TikTok YouTube Google analytics; coupled with expertise in influencer marketing.

A strong content creator and storyteller with excellent writing and editing skills to craft engaging pet-focused content.

What would be your key responsibilities

Social Media Content Lead: In collaboration with the Media Acceleration Lead create and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with marketing and business goals.

Social Community Management: Support the community managers with proactive posting and social monitoring.

Influencer Strategy Lead: Lead the execution of the social influencer strategy including liaising with the influencer agency campaign breifs and management of the day-to day.

Administration: Responsible for processing invoices with our vendors and raising Purchase Orders to following financial procedures for processing payments and budget reconciliation.
