Job Description
- Responsible for collaboration & course planning skill assessment & instruction
- Must be able to implement the common core essential elements.
- Participate in professional development and implement best practices.
- Creates a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students.
- Manages student behavior to provide a safe and optimal learning environment.
- Maintains accurate complete and correct records as required by law district policy and administrative regulations.
- Accommodates the learning disabilities of students regularly seeking the assistance of district specialists as required.
- Provide high-quality instruction that supports and aligns with the districts educational vision and mission.
- Remain knowledgeable of educational standards and strategies to meet the academic developmental and social-emotional needs of students.
- Assess and modify instructional practice leading toward increased student achievement.
- Utilize educational technology to support students instruction and learning.
- Establish and maintain positive and effective relationships with students peers parents and the community.
- Encourages students to set and maintain standards of classroom behavior.
- Performs other duties as may be assigned by the administration.
