Job Description

Adelphi is seeking Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide contracted therapy services at a public charter high school in Washington D.C. Providers will deliver services aligned with students IEPs or 504 plans and support special education students through individual and group therapy.

Contract Term: One year

Rate:$50-55/hr

Requirements:

Active Speech-Language Pathology license in Washington D.C.

Background check compliant with D.C. School Safety Omnibus Amendment Act of 2018

Experience in school-based therapy and familiarity with IEP/504 plans

Strong collaboration and communication skills

Responsibilities:

Provide individual and/or group SLP services for students

Conduct formal and informal assessments and contribute to IEP/504 development

Deliver services as outlined in each student s IEP or 504 plan (direct indirect or consultative)

Support post secondary transition goals such as time/stress management and organization

Maintain accurate service records progress reports and communication logs

Collaborate with teachers the Manager of Special Education and other staff

Attend IEP meetings and weekly check-ins with school administrators

Create and share weekly therapy schedules with the school leadership

Ensure compliance with student data confidentiality and all relevant laws

Perform any other duties as assigned
