The Finance Department is currently seeking to fill one (1) full-time Senior Analyst vacancy in the Purchasing and Risk Management Division. If you are interested in this position please apply!
The mission of the Finance Department is to strategically manage the City of San Joss financial resources for all stakeholders.
The Finance Department has five core divisions:
The Finance Department works in partnership with the departments of Human Resources Information Technology and Public Works as the Citys Strategic Support City Service Area to effectively develop manage and safeguard City fiscal physical technological and human resources to enable and enhance the delivery of City services and projects. The Finance Department has a $27.4 million operating budget and 131 budgeted full-time equivalent (FTE) positions.
The Senior Analyst will report directly to a Program Manager. This Division is responsible for the procurement of all equipment supplies materials Information Technology goods and services goods and services for maintenance and repair and non-consulting services required to support operations throughout the City. Additionally the Division provides Risk Management services and oversight as well as citywide guidance for the procurement of professional and consulting services.
The essential duties of this Senior Analyst position may include but are not limited to:
