Description

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Purchasing Agent to join Vail Psychologist pllc. As a Purchasing Agent you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient procurement of goods and services for our organization. This position is vital to maintaining smooth operations and supporting various projects within the company. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of procurement processes and excellent negotiation skills.

As a Purchasing Agent at Vail Psychologist pllc you will be responsible for managing vendor relationships analyzing pricing proposals and maintaining accurate records of purchases. You will collaborate with different departments to understand their procurement needs and ensure timely delivery of goods. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects and contribute to the overall success of the organization through cost-effective purchasing strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify potential suppliers and source products based on quality price and delivery speed.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with vendors to secure advantageous terms.
  • Review purchase orders and ensure accuracy in specifications and pricing.
  • Monitor inventory levels and track orders to ensure timely delivery.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management or related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other procurement software.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of procurement regulations and best practices.
  • Previous experience in purchasing or supply chain management is a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
