Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and engaging Latin teacher to join our high school faculty in a part-time (.6 FTE) position. The role typically includes teaching Latin 2 Latin 3 and a rotating curriculum for Latin 4/5. Students begin Latin in middle school and often continue through advanced levels in high school.
Our World Language Department emphasizes a proficiency-based approach in modern languages and while we value the strengths of a traditional Latin program we also welcome candidates interested in integrating elements of proficiency-based instruction where appropriate.
The ideal candidate is a collaborative team member who is excited to contribute to a strong and collegial department.
