  • inspHire is a market leader in the development and provision of rental software environments for a variety of sectors addressing single or multi-branch operations as well as catering for organisations with point-of-sale hire desks and warehouses.
  • Reporting into the inspHire Sales Director you will help create and take responsibility for executing the agreed sales strategy relating to existing business activity.
  • Responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts whilst providing strong leadership to colleagues.
  • Creating strategies to maximise the commercial opportunity within these organisations whilst increasing our influence by forming strong relationships with all key internal and external stakeholders
  • Lead with intent. Lead by example inspiring your colleagues mentoring them to work towards their own personal development aspirations.
  • Managing a growing team of 5 but up to 8 in future.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Management: The Director of Account Management leads a team of account managers to achieve the businesss strategic objectives. This person will be responsible for providing guidance coaching and support to the team to ensure they are achieving their goals targets and critical milestones. This includes but is not limited to hiring training and performance management.
  • Client Relationships: The Director of Account Management is responsible for building strong relationships with clients and ensuring their satisfaction with the companys products or services. This includes understanding their business needs addressing their concerns and anticipating their future requirements. This person will develop solutions that best address the customers needs whilst simultaneously coordinating necessary departments in order to meet key account performance objectives and the customers expectations.
  • Sales Growth: The Director of Account Management is responsible for increasing sales and revenue from existing clients specifically by developing and implementing strategies to upsell and cross-sell products and services identifying opportunities for account expansion and monitoring customer retention rates.
  • Reporting and Analysis: The Director of Account Management is responsible for monitoring and reporting on the performance of the account management team. This includes analysing sales data customer satisfaction metrics and customer retention rates to identify areas for improvement and optimize strategies.
  • Collaboration: The Director of Account Management collaborates with other departments within the organisation including sales marketing and customer support to ensure a consistent and positive customer experience across all touchpoints.
  • Strategic Planning: The Director of Account Management is responsible for developing and implementing a strategic account management plan to ensure long-term customer success and retention. This includes setting goals and objectives identifying key performance indicators and creating a roadmap for achieving success.

Overall the Director of Account Management plays a critical role in ensuring the ongoing success of a companys relationship with its customers. They are responsible for managing a team of account managers building strong relationships with clients driving sales growth and collaborating with other departments to deliver a seamless customer experience

Skills Knowledge and Experience:

Essential

  • Demonstratable experience in managing Customer accounts within a fast-paced business.
  • Demonstrable experience in leading a successful sales/account management team.
  • Execute sales strategy with a proactive attitude
  • Set manage and report on sales goals and quotas for your team in accordance with the Sales Director
  • Strong commercial awareness in all areas
  • Experience of working in sales within a software solution sales environment
  • Excellent technical understanding from an application and technology perspective
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to build effective relationships at all levels
  • Motivated and Can-Do Attitude
  • Ability to accomplish a task and problem solve
  • A willingness to learn new product and services features and benefits
  • A valid driving licence with suitable car for business use

Desirable

  • Experience in creating executing and managing a sales strategy
  • Knowledge of the rental sector
  • Management of the entire sales cycle
  • Knowledge of ERP or business IT systems
