About us
Placemaking NSW is responsible for managing and caring for some of Sydneys most iconic harbourside venues and locations including The Rocks Barangaroo Darling Harbour and White Bay Power Station. We also lead the planning and delivery of the Bays West Urban Renewal Precinct a state significant project that will bring new homes jobs and public spaces to 77 hectares of government-owned land just 2 kilometres from Sydneys CBD.
The role
Barangaroo is known for its world-leading sustainability commitments and this role plays a key part in keeping that legacy alive. As Senior Manager Sustainability youll work with building owners tenants consultants and internal teams to lead and deliver on the annual Climate Active Carbon Neutral Certification and other sustainability commitments across the precinct.
Its a dynamic role that calls for excellent stakeholder coordination and project management skills and a deep knowledge of sustainability best practice. Youll manage reporting contracts and compliancewhile helping shape the long-term sustainability aspirations of Barangaroo.
