Job Description
Salary: Grade D 4 / 12.65 per hour
Hours of work: Part time - 25 hours per week
Contract type: This is a fixed term contract until August 2026.

Who we are:
Our primary school is situated in the lovely village of Codford and the grounds we have around our school are second to none. The children are wonderful and their behaviour is outstanding. We have a strong and committed staff who always put the needs of the children first. We have 145 children on role and have five classes.
What youll be doing:
We wish to appoint a teaching assistant to join our strong friendly and motivated team of staff. The successful candidate will be exciting and creative with a passion for ensuring that every child enjoys their learning. It is highly likely that you will be supporting children between Reception and Year strongly advise you to come and have a look around the school in person.
The successful candidate will have:
- high expectations for every child.
- good interpersonal skills and be able to work as part of a team.
- the ability to ensure that every child enjoys learning.
- the experience to cover a teacher in their absence.
- the skills to uphold our Christian values of Love Care and Respect in everything they do.
- experience of working with children with Special Educational needs.
- creative and exciting ideas.
The position has arisen due to a rise in pupil numbers and the successful candidate will work with children who have special educational needs.
