Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef de Partie Pastry to join our culinary team at our signature Indonesian restaurant. The ideal candidate will bring creativity precision and a deep appreciation for Indonesian flavors elevating traditional and contemporary desserts to a luxury dining standard.

Employment will be under local contract. Open for Indonesian citizens only.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and plate a wide range of pastry and dessert items with attention to detail and presentation.
  • Reimagine traditional Indonesian sweets into modern elegant desserts for la carte tasting menus and events.
  • Supervise and support team members fostering continuous learning and high performance.
  • Maintain the highest quality standards in taste texture appearance and consistency.
  • Enforce strict food safety hygiene and cleanliness standards at all times.
  • Assist with stock rotation cost control and inventory of kitchen supplies.
  • Collaborate with the culinary leadership team on menu development and seasonal offerings.

Qualifications :

Your experience and skills include:

  • At least 35 years of hands-on experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant.
  • Strong foundation in pastry arts with proven ability to execute both classic and innovative techniques.
  • Passion for Indonesian culinary heritage and creative flair in modernizing local desserts.
  • Culinary diploma or equivalent certification in pastry or baking preferred.
  • Strong leadership organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Proficient in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is an advantage.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays.
