Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of people with developmental disabilities Do you have a keen eye for detail and a curiosity for research and data analysis Karis Disability Services is looking for a motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as aSeasonal Quality Assurance Research Assistant. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in quality assurance and research within the social services sector. Part-Time Temporary (approximately 7 weeks)
Seasonal Quality Assurance Research Assistant
24-32 Hours per week
Waterloo Ontario
The Seasonal Quality Assurance Research Assistant will have the opportunity to gain from a variety of experiences including program visits and assessments data collection data analysis research and development into new initiatives (e.g. education resources for people who use our services) report writing and learning and experience in the field of developmental disabilities and social services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with special projects including reviews of Personal Plans and qualitative data analysis.
- Conduct research and compile data for trend analysis and reporting.
- Draft reports tools and resources for internal use.
- Communicate with staff and service users to collect feedback and data.
Qualifications:
- Enrolled or previously enrolled in a college or university program in a relevant field.
- Strong computer skills (Word Excel) communication skills and knowledge of research methods.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is an asset.
