Join Our Team as a Banquet Manager at Shoshone-Bannock Casino Hotel!

Are you a strategic leader with a passion for hospitality and event excellence Were seeking a Banquet Manager to lead our Banquets Department and ensure the highest standards of service efficiency and guest satisfaction. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a strong background in food and beverage operations we want to hear from you!

What Youll Do:

  • Lead the Banquets Department: Oversee daily operations staffing training and performance management.
  • Ensure Event Success: Manage BEOs coordinate with vendors and ensure flawless execution of events.
  • Financial Oversight: Monitor revenue control costs and ensure profitability.
  • Guest Relations: Greet guests resolve complaints and ensure exceptional service.
  • Compliance: Enforce food safety alcohol service and sanitation standards.
  • Team Development: Conduct performance reviews coach staff and foster a positive work culture.
  • Inventory & Equipment: Maintain inventory control and ensure proper use of banquet equipment.
  • Administrative Duties: Complete reports schedules payroll and documentation accurately and on time.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the F&B Director and Executive Chef on planning and budgeting.
  • Maintain Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

What Were Looking For:

  • Education & Experience:
    • G13/S1-3 DOE: High School diploma or GED; 5 years in food service management and banquet operations.
    • G14/S1-3 DOE: Associate degree in Hospitality or related field; 3 years in management and 5 years in banquet operations.
    • G15/S1-3 DOE: Bachelors degree in hospitality or related field; 6 years in management and 7 years in banquet operations.
  • Skills: Strong leadership communication budgeting and organizational skills. Proficiency in POS systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Certifications: Must obtain and maintain Food Handlers Food ServSafe Alcohol ServSafe and TIPS certifications within 90 days of employment.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a dynamic environment.
  • Work Environment: Exposure to mechanical parts tobacco smoke and loud noise levels on the casino floor.
